Published October 2006.—this study shows that the supplementation of fatty acids to the diet of the goat can have a posititve influence on the milk fat content it produces. Capacity of high milk yielding goats for utilizing cultivated pasture. Authors; Y. Lefrileux, P. Morand-Fehr, A. Pommareta. Published May 2008. The research compared goats fed on pasture to those hand fed. It found that that the quality of grazing pasture was more important than the quantity of concentrates on milk yield and milk quality. Regrouping in lactating goats increases aggression and decreases milk production. Authors; M.A. Fern´andez, L. Alvarez, L. Zarco. Published May 2006—This study found that the moving of alpine goats between feeding companions decreased the milk production and increased their aggressive behavior. Influence of kid rearing systems on milk yield, kid growth and cost of Florida dairy goats. Authors; M. Delgado-Pertí ˜neza, J.L. Guzmán-Guerrerob, Y. Menaa, J.M. Castel, P. González-Redondoa, F.P. Caravacaa. Published January 2009. This study found that the milk yeild was higher, the cost of rearing was lower and kid growth remained the same when kid goats were raised in natural compared to artificial situations.
