Add milk & beaten eggs

Add vanilla &  sugar to  taste

Pour  into caramelized bowl, cover with oil paper & steam for about 45-60 minutes.

Remove from heat, cool & turn over.

Add milk, egg & melted butter.
Pour into greased & lined slice tray .
Bake at 180c for 20-25 minutes
While still warm ice with lemon icing.
Keeps well frozen.

Vanilla essence.
Place sugar & water in pan, allow to dissolve & caramelize. Stir & pour into a warm bowl tilt bowl around & around to coat the caramel evenly.

Thickly slice apples & place in pan with sugar & 1 tbsp water.
Cover & cook on medium heat for 12 minutes, or until soft & holding its shape

Fold in vanilla essence & milk alternatively with sifted flour
Spoon over apple.
Bake for 40-50 mins, until a skewer comes out clean
